Dr. Glenn Weiner completed his medical education at Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then did his medical internship at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital. This was followed by a residency in internal medicine at Hines V.A. Medical Center , where he later completed rheumatology fellowship also at the Hines V.A. Medical Center at Loyola University.
Dr. Weiner is board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology, and is a fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. He founded Northwest Rheumatology Specialists in 1979. He is a clinical assistant professor of internal medicine at the Midwestern University College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he has mentored and taught medical students for over 20 years. He has been honored to have been chosen in the Chicago Magazine for Top Doctors five times! In 2023 he was voted “physician of the year” by Ascension Hospital system at Alexian Brother’s Hospital and St. Alexius Hospital.
On a personal level, he has been married for fifty years and has 3 children and 2 grandchildren. He is an avid tennis player.
